Once Upon a Time….
I was 25, and life was good. After years of apartment-living with my best friend, we moved into a home with a yard… it felt so grown up! We quickly discovered it was nice….. and haunted! We tried it all to make it work – had the home blessed, positive thinking, paranormal investigators, the whole nine.
In the end, I landed right back at my parents’ doorstep, feeling directionless, confused, and (I’m embarrassed to admit) terrified. Everything felt ALL wrong, and nothing felt ALRIGHT, like it was the end of my world. A friend recommended I go see Enola – her astrologer, at Tranquil Thymes in Old Town Spring, Texas.
Back then, I knew astrology in the simplest terms: sun signs. I loved them—I loved the mythology, I even loved the solar system—but I couldn’t imagine how discovering the answer to “Is Aries compatible with Scorpio?” was going to help me here! Still, I made an appointment, and let me tell you—that consult was absolutely life-changing!
I had no idea about the depth of knowledge within a chart. Enola showed me how each part revealed a deeper understanding of who I am and where I could be headed. She saw through the confusion I was experiencing and helped me realize I wasn’t lost—I was at a turning point, and it was time to make a turn.
Within 12 months of that conversation, I had moved to a new state, found a great job, and felt stronger and more purpose driven than ever. Astrology helped me understand that life wasn’t happening to me—it was happening for me, and every challenge I faced was part of a bigger plan.

If I hadn’t been uprooted in 2003, I would never have found myself living in Virginia Beach, where eventually I met Kathy Rose in 2014. Kathy became my teacher, mentor, and a very good friend. She introduced me to Noel Tyl’s methodologies, and I began his Master’s Degree Certification Program, which I graduated from with Highest Honors. I also wouldn’t have met my husband, who I’m absolutely certain is my soulmate. What I had once seen as the end of my world in 2003 was truly just the beginning.
Nowadays, when I am not working on your charts, I am spending time with my fire captain husband (I’m a lot of Aries after all), my two precious furbabies, our four actual human babies, or sewing, sewing, designing, sewing something else, gardening, and sewing some more. I love to sew almost as much as I love the stars. (almost)
Today, my mission is to live like I love being alive and to help others find the same clarity and empowerment that astrology gave me.
